Monthly Drink event is a one-hour event being hosted online by FinGeo. It brings together early career researchers and PhD students, across finance, geography, and the wider academic community. This is a unique opportunity for all attendees at different stages of their careers to engage with one another in an online supportive event, have an opportunity to ask career-related questions, and get answers in a friendly environment. The event will not be recorded, although a summary based on Q&A will be written and posted on FinGeo Blog page. This is a great way to familiarize ourselves with different career paths we might take.
Our next guest speaker is Sabine Dörry and the event takes place on 14th December 2021 from 13:00 – 14:00 GMT, access here.
Sabine Dörry is a Senior Research Fellow at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Luxembourg, and an Honorary Research Associate of the School of Geography and the Environment (Oxford). Sabine completed her doctorate (Economic Geography) at the Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main (Germany).
